The shantytown will open in the former Salisbury bunker space in Weymouth

[ad_1]

A new drinking venue is heading to the South Bank, taking over the space of a nearby dive bar.

According to sources, The Shanty plans to open in Weymouth and move into the former Sully’s Sand Trap space on Highway 3A. A post on the Weymouth Is Everything Facebook group page indicated that the new store may open in the next few weeks, and they are currently hiring bartenders.

Sully’s Sand Trap is mainly a local meeting place for residents of North Weymouth and nearby Quincy Point, which is just across the Fall River Bridge.

The Shanty (and now closed Sully’s Sand Trap) address is 327 Bridge Street (Route 3A), Weymouth, MA, 02191.
